Everpure 2026 · Mediterranean
Friday, May 15 – Saturday, May 23

Eight days, five ports, one slow Italian summer.

A friendly, no-personal-info port companion for fellow Everpure cruisers. Rome and Venice get day-plan options for whatever pace fits — iconic, hidden, or food-first. The Croatian ports get a tighter set: walls, sea organ, waterfalls. Share freely.

The route

Silver Muse departs Civitavecchia on Sunday, May 17, and disembarks in Venice on Friday, May 22. Two bookend cities, three port stops, one full day at sea. Each card below opens onto a longer page with what to do, where to eat, and what not to miss.

Saturday · May 16

Rome · Italy

One full day before embarkation, plus a Sunday morning. Pre-book skip-the-line tickets — both the Colosseum and Vatican regularly sell out, and the Vatican is closed Sundays (May 17 is closed). Plan to leave Rome by 11 AM Sunday for the 75-minute transfer to Civitavecchia.

Arrive FCO morning Depart Civitavecchia · transfer Sun mid-morning
Monday · May 18

Naples · Italy

Six to seven hours ashore. Pompeii is the closest classic — 40-minute Circumvesuviana train, €3 each way. Capri is a tight ferry round-trip with the funicular up and the Anacapri walk. Naples itself rewards a Spaccanapoli stroll plus pizza at L'Antica Pizzeria da Michele or Sorbillo.

Arrive 8:00 AM Depart 4:00 PM
Wednesday · May 20

Dubrovnik · Croatia

Eight to nine hours ashore. The Old Town walls are the single best thing in Dubrovnik — 1.2 miles atop the city ramparts, best in late afternoon when the light hits the orange rooftops. Mount Srđ cable car for the panorama. Game-of-Thrones spotting is self-guided; the Old Town doubled as King's Landing.

Arrive 8:00 AM Depart 5:00 PM
Thursday · May 21

Zadar · Croatia

Eight hours ashore. Krka National Park is the headline day-trip — boardwalks through the falls, ~5h 30m. If you stay in Zadar, the Sea Organ + Greeting to the Sun at sunset is the iconic experience. The Roman Forum + Church of St. Donatus anchor the Old Town.

Arrive 9:00 AM Depart 6:00 PM
Friday · May 22

Venice · Italy

Disembark to magic. Wait until 9:30 AM for the rush to clear. Water taxi is worth the splurge with luggage (€110–130, 25–35 min) — vaporetto is €9.50 but awkward with bags. Half a day plus the next morning before flights out.
