The ship

A small ship, deliberately

Silver Muse entered service in April 2017 as Silversea's flagship and the first of the Muse-class — a deliberate re-think of how a small ultra-luxury ship serves food and how guests choose their evening. Eight distinct restaurants, no main dining room, no fixed seating times. Built by Fincantieri in Italy, refurbished in 2020, and one of the smaller ships at sea by passenger count — about 1.45 crew per guest, all suites with sea views, butler service throughout.

Sea And Land Taste

The S.A.L.T. program

Silversea's S.A.L.T. (Sea And Land Taste) program is the line's destination-focused culinary thread. On Silver Muse it shows up four ways: the S.A.L.T. Kitchen restaurant rotates its menu with the itinerary; S.A.L.T. Lab runs cooking demonstrations and wine tastings tied to the region; S.A.L.T. shore excursions (e.g. the Miloslavic Family Home dinner in Dubrovnik, the Šibenik wine tasting from Zadar) take you off the ship; and S.A.L.T. Bar serves regional spirits, vermouths, and amari you'd actually find ashore.
